24 Weeks

Here I am at 24 weeks.  Growing by the second.  I went to the doctor Monday and my uterus is already almost the size it would be at full-term, so I'm getting pretty large and in charged!!!
The appointment went really well.  I had another full scan so other than laying on the table for 2 hours and dozing off several times it went great!  Dr. Gibbs said there's no reason to believe I won't make it to 36 or 37 weeks, which would mean that I'll bring them home with me!!!
I guess what will happen is I'll go in for my stress test (haven't started these yet) or weekly appointment and the babies will either have stopped growing because they will run out of room or something may not be okay with me (nothing major, blood pressure, or something) and they'll tell me they're taking them that day or that week.  So, we really won't know until it happens.

The babies were doing great!  All of their measurements were within normal ranges and zero abnormatlities.  They are getting too big to get good pictures.  Molly is the only one that cooperated for a picture.  Here she is sucking her thumb.
They are as long as eggplants now and weighed as follows:
Molly: 1 lb, 3 oz.
Mia: 1 lb. 4 oz.
Max: 1 lb. 6 oz.
Poor Molly and Mia were on top of eachother, which made it extra hard to get a good picture and makes take a really long time for the technician to make sure she's on the right babie's parts.  Max, is laying clear across my stomach under my ribs, completely sprawled out "in the penthouse," (which is what all of the techs have said)!  He would not give us a profile pic, however, he did give us another picture.  WARNING:  The following is x-rated...
Every picture we got of him was of his P.P.!!!  He was not shy.  I'm sure he'll be thrilled one day that I shared this with the world!
On another note.  My last day of work was today.  I've really been struggling with exhaustion and how uncomfortable I am.  By the end of the day I can barely walk I'm just too warn out to keep working.  I hadn't anticipated being sad, as I can't wait to catch back up with my daytime TV,  but I absoluely love my class this year and have loved working at Winnwood the past 7 years, so I had a hard time leaving.  I am super excited to start this next chapter though.
I go back to the dr. on October 4, so more I will post again soon.

My Seuss Shower and more...

My shower was yesterday and I'm pretty sure I had the best baby shower anyone has ever had (I know that I'm not biased or anything)!!! My sisters and mom planned the cutest shower on Earth! Since I"m having triplets, they went crazy and everything turned out just amazing! After going to baby shower after baby shower and wondering if I'd ever have my own(and eventually having to boycot so that I wouldn't have a public meltdown while people shout to me "you'll be next"...yes people really do that), this was more than I ever could have imagined! They started with a Thing 1, Thing 2, (adding a Thing 3) Cat in the Hat theme--Thank you for the onesies, Mike! Eventually it turned into a Dr. Seuss theme. Here are some of my favorite shots of the day and if you're my Facebook friend you've seen them all! Don't forget that you can click on the pics to enlarge it.

My sisters made these adorable diaper cakes with Dr. Seuss characters popping out of the top. If my calculations are correct (which we know they usually aren't) will get us through 5 weeks worth with the babies! The cakes were a hit!

The other centerpieces were flowers that my mom put Dr. Seuss pins in the center of. You can't see the pins very well in the picture, but they were really cute!
I have no words for the cake. It was ridiculous! The one and only Rama Sola made it. She's the only person to get cakes from in my opinion! She's been making our cakes since we were little and made our Wedding cakes and Christin'a baby shower cake as well. She outdoes herself each time...

And here I am with my mom, sister's and Luci, whose Dr. Seuss outfit was too cute!

THANKS for everything Mom, Andrea, and Sissy for all of your hard work putting everything together. I couldn't have LOVED it more! Also, THANK YOU to all of our very generous friends and family for the gifts! I am overwhelmed by how blessed we are to have each of you in our lives! Having 3 babies at once is stressful enough and because of all of you we do not have to buy even 1 big item for the babies, so we can't even express how thankful we are for everything we got!
On to my 21 week check up...

I went to the doctor today. They just did a short scan today to check fluid, which were all perfect! I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow and making it to 24 weeks without signs of twin to twin tranfusion (which I will :) is a major milestone!
The babies are getting too big (which is good!) to get good pictures of, but I think this is about the sweetest thing I've ever seen, so of course I had to share it.

If you couldn't tell from the cake, we did decide on names! We are naming them Molly, Mia, and Max. We couldn't decide, but Christina told Rama to put that on the cake, so she went ahead and decided for us!
Molly and Mia's heartrates were both in the 150's and Max was 137, so all within normal ranges. I measured as if I am 27 weeks pregnant and the babies are now the sizes of small baby dolls.
Everything is going pretty smoothly! We did have a small scare last Thursday morning. I had a really sharp, constant pain in my stomach that wouldn't go away and was to the point that I could not stand up. It got pretty unbearable, so we spent the morning in Labor & Delivery. Turns out, my ligaments are stretching so fast now that when I make sudden movements that may become my norm. It could have been , and hopefully was just a fluke, but that's what it was. We were there for 2 hours while they monitored me and the babies, gave me some pain meds, told me to take it easy the rest of the day, and sent me home! Now that I know what that was and feels like, hopefully everything will be smooth sailing from here on out.
